The shop

I run Vintergatan with two friends. We sell Hammarby-inspired clothing and stickers. The shop runs on Shopify, with a custom theme built around stars, space and the colour green.

How it works

Shopify hosts the shop and handles products, checkout and orders. The custom theme is built with Liquid, CSS and JavaScript.

A Python tool running on a Raspberry Pi helps with packing. It fetches paid orders that still need packing through Shopify’s Admin API and shows picking and packing lists in an interface that works on a phone.

Once I’ve confirmed a shipment in PostNord, its shipping label is downloaded as a PDF. A script prints the labels, extracts the tracking numbers and marks the orders as fulfilled in Shopify.
