What can you build with AI to make everyday life easier?

Start with a task you keep coming back to. At Syvo Labs I share projects built with help from AI: Hugge-TV brings TV shortcuts together, Cykelskanner tracks bicycles and Vintergatan has tools for handling orders. Each uses technology suited to its particular problem.

Getting to the things I use

Hugge-TV started with the wish for my own TV home screen. Its interface runs on the TV, with a Raspberry Pi handling automatic launch. The useful test was whether I could use it from the sofa with the remote control.

Avoiding the same search every day

Cykelskanner gathers bicycles from shops and listing sites, stores details and price history in SQLite and shows them in a private dashboard. It is a personal tool, not a public search service. Unknown or conflicting size information must not become a deal alert.

Building around an existing service

Vintergatan’s shop runs on Shopify. Separate Python tools on a Raspberry Pi help with picking and packing lists and shipping labels. The storefront and checkout stay on Shopify. A custom tool does not have to replace the whole system.

What needs testing when AI helps?

Code running successfully is only a start. Check the incoming information, exceptions and results in the place where the tool will actually be used. Keep a clear way to review changes and recover when something fails.

Syvo Labs or Syvo?

Syvo Labs is where I share personal projects and experiments. Through Syvo, I help businesses with websites and digital tools. The portfolio shows actual builds and their limitations; it is not a catalogue of finished products for sale.
